Alex is a business builder and strategic thinker, recognized with both an R&D 100 Award and the Hungarian Innovation Prize. He has been CEO of ComInnex (acquired by X-Chem in October 2021) since 2015. There, he focused on developing new business strategies and, under his leadership, the company moved to a multi-faceted product and service group. He started his career as executive at ABN AMRO bank in the U.K. and Hungary, and joined ComGenex as CFO in 2000, overseeing its sale to AMRI. He was also CEO at ThalesNano in its early growth years, where he created the first commercially successful microflow reactor company and then moved to take ChemAxon from a startup to one of the global leaders in cheminformatics.
